Here’s a bunch of 3D clips I’ve strung together for a particular test.. Its aimed at users of the brilliantly simple Google Cardboard or similar VR headsets.

I’ll update this shortly with details of our new Android App covering the VR type headsets.
My review of the amazing Linx 8″ tablet, it truly is the tech bargain of the year at under £100 including Office 365 annual membership.
I have installed all my standard applications including Blender 3D and Serif MoviePlus video editor !
I run Chrome as the standard browser and a bunch of others and it remains quick and familiar.. no other operating system to confuse just the standard Windows we love to hate 😉
I’ve lined it up next to the Google Nexus 7 1st generation and the Apple iPad mini.. I love these but the Lynx 8 is my new choice of carry about tablet.
You can get these from Staples, eBuyer, Amazon, eBay etc.. they are not difficult to find and I would recommend it to anyone.
If you enjoy this then please thumbs me up on youtube and, even better, consider subscribing. I have a great range of Gadgets to show you.. most I think you’ll want !!
Feel free to post a comment here or on youtube and i’ll do my best to reply.
This is a first look at my new 7 x Cree XM-L T6 LED Torch.
It’s painfully bright, the documentation quotes 10,000 lumens.. I can’t verify the numbers but I can say it’s VERY bright.. painfully if you happen to glance at it on full power.
It run’s from 4 x Li-ion batterys (18650) that take a fair time to charge via the supplied charger.. we’re talking maybe 10 hours a pair !
Colour quality and range is excellent. The light is very white and looking at surrounding colours they all appear pretty close to daylight colours.. blues, reds, yellows and greens are very clear and sharp so a broad spectrum light.
I bought mine through eBay for around £40 inc p&p, mains charger and batteries.
I love bright lights and this is by far my brightest to date.
The spec quotes 10,000 lumens from 7 x Cree emitters. I dont currently have a way of verifying the exact brightness but what I can say is it is EXTREMELY bright, in fact painfully bright if you inadvertently glance its way while on full beam.
It has three modes all of which are operated from a single button. Full brightness with the first press, roughly one third brightness on the second press and strobe by a l o n g press.
As reported by others, these torches, when on full power, generate a sizeable amount of heat. Be aware, this CAN cause problems if the are enclosed in say a pocket and the button accidentally pressed.. I had this very problem and the torch was too hot to hold. Luckily nothing was damaged but it could have been very dangerous if left next to something flammable or even a mobile phone.
A simple, very cheap way to watch the American (US) Netflix. In the past I have tried the usual VPN / Proxy services with varying success but this little plugin for Chrome is foolproof.
This link takes you to the Google Chrome webstore for installing Chrome extensions. These are little plugins generally designed to extend the features of your browser.
